The Husaini Islamic Centre, Peterborough, jointly with the Iranian Cultural Centre, London, has organised competitions on Imam Ridha (as) to celebrate the birth anniversary of the Imam on 11th Dhu-al-Qaada. Many prizes to be won including 3 tickets to Mashhad , Islamic Republic of Iran for the ziyarat of Imam Ali bin Musa al-Ridha (as). Deadline for all entries was 25th December 2011. The Senior Citizens Group of Husaini Islamic Centre, Peterborough hosted a special Imam Ridha (as) event on Wednesday 5th October 2011. Senior Citizens from all UK jamaats were invited to the occasion which was in honour of Imam Ali ibn Musa al-Ridha (as) whose wiladat was celebrated on 11th Dhul Qa'dah.
